Planet Partners

Planet Partners is a friendship program run by the Office of International Programs where international students are paired with Americans based on common interests. The program seeks to introduce Ole Miss international students to life in the United States and to give American students the opportunity to learn more about other cultures through friendly interaction.

The Office of International Programs pairs up partners based on their interests and background. The paired Planet Partners will be given each other's contact information and encouraged to make their own plans for activities each month, which can be as simple as meeting for coffee or for lunch. The basic commitment is for each participant to meet with their partner a minimum of once per month.

Also, the Office of International Programs sponsors group activities for all Planet Partners approximately once a month. Each semester starts with a new chance for you to make an interantional friend. All Planet Partners group activities are made possible through Campus Programming sponsorship.

Application forms are available in the Office of International Programs, 331 Martindale. For more information, contact Charter Morris at cmorris@olemiss.edu or 662-915-7404.
