Visit all the great sites related to fashion design, creation, and marketing in the international city of New York. Explore the fashion world from the inside and learn trade secrets from experts in the field. This two-part course will introduce the world of fashion business behind the scenes in New York City. The first part of the course, held on campus, will include slide lectures, films and discussions addressing the dynamics among trade associations, producers, manufacturers, retailers, forecasting services and publishers in fashion business, along with the history and development of New York market. The second part of the course is a field visit to New York City. |
